Please note there is a £6 food charge daily for children receiving 30 hours free childcare. Originally childminders from 2011, Abigail and Tracey (a mother and daughter team) opened The Oval Childcare Nursery in 2015 to expand the business due to popular demand for the service but bringing the homely atmosphere to the nursery. Our fabulous team brings together a wide range of attributes, from those with 30+ years experience to those newly qualified or training. We have staff that bring different strengths to our setting including; creativity, positivity, organisation, nurturing... but one thing that ties us altogether is that the children are our priority! The setting is an Ofsted Registered Nursery, currently open 7am until 6pm Monday to Friday, offering full days, half days and school drop offs and pick ups from The Glebe Primary School and St Bedes Primary School. We accept childcare vouchers, tax free childcare and have spaces for children who receive free hours through government funding. As a family ran nursery, we pride ourselves on offering a safe but fun environment for your child, caring for them just as we would and have cared for our own children and grandchildren.
