We have been welcoming some of the children who will be joining us in Pre-School within our outstanding Riverbank Nursery this September.

It was wonderful to see familiar faces, make new friends and begin exploring our Pre-School environment together.

The children enjoyed getting creative by decorating their own plant pots before planting bulbs to take home.

We are looking forward to seeing everyone again in September and start our exciting Pre-School journey together!.

If you would like to tour our amazing Nursery which welcomes children from as young as 6 months to 4 years old, we would be delighted to show you around so you can experience first hand what makes Riverbank Nursery at Teesside High so special.

Everything we do is shaped by our aims:

To provide an environment in which students achieve their full academic and personal potential in all areas of development, and become a caring, confident, self-disciplined and well-balanced adult.

To nurture a sense of intellectual curiosity and to value creativity in all aspects of school life.

To help each individual to develop a firmly rooted sense of justice and morality.

To encourage each individual to develop self esteem and to respect the rights, opinions and property of others irrespective of age, s*x or religion.

We are proud to create an environment where students succeed in all aspects of their well-rounded education. We are beyond proud of our students and what they have achieved in their time here. We can't wait to see what they do next!

At Teesside High School, we pride ourselves on a supportive environment that ensures every pupil thrives.

On results days, families are welcome to come into school to support their children, brothers, sisters, and it was wonderful to see so many here today.

Our teachers are also on hand, ready to provide further guidance on next steps, provide further information about our sixth form, or simply to congratulate students on their hard work and share in the celebrations.

Our wide subject range includes Music and Drama. Aiden and Phoebe have done exceptionally well with their GCSE results in these subjects as well as their other grades.

We are very proud of them both and also look forward to seeing Aiden soon at Sixth Form!

It has been a very busy morning with top marks for so many of our Teesside High School students. The celebrations continue and we managed to capture a few of our students next to our "Class of 2026" balloons.

The range of subjects receiving top marks this year is broad, including the arts, languages, sciences, maths and sport.

Our students have done very well. We will miss them and hope they keep in touch.

Almost half of our students received grades 9s and 8s in their GCSE results today.

This is definitely something worth celebrating.

Congratulations!

The celebrations continue at Teesside High School with more impressive results, this time for our Year 11s and their GCSEs.

We have maintained a strong 78% pass rate for students achieving five or more GCSEs at grades 9-4, including English and Mathematics.

We are proud of our supportive environment that ensures every pupil thrives. This year’s results are particularly impressive given the diverse extra-curricular commitments of the cohort, with many students excelling in professional sporting pathways, the Duke of Edinburgh Award, and Youth Theatre groups.

Among the individual success stories is Annabel, who is returning from Australia just in time to collect her results. Annabel recently made history as the youngest ever athlete ever selected to represent the UK at the prestigious Pony Club Tetrathlon International exchange.

We hope each and every pupil is very proud of what they have achieved, and for those students continuing at our sixth form, we can’t wait to see what we achieve together next!

Forest Adventure Camp

Our Forest Adventure Camp this week has been all about exploring, creating and working together in the woodland.

The children headed out on mini beast hunts, seeing what they could find hiding around the site, before getting hands-on with some of our Forest School tools.

They worked together using hammers and whittled sticks, then challenged themselves to create different letters using the sticks they had made.

It was great to see so much teamwork, problem solving and creativity throughout the day — as well as plenty of time for woodland play and exploring.
