An incredible night for an incredible cause and an inspirational woman! We are so proud of all the efforts so far to raise such a significant amount of money for the MND Association and Friends of Hartburn Primary School - Fohps 'Mrs Park's Park'. We can't wait to see the Newby Leisure Limited designs come to life over the summer!
Thank you to everyone who attended, donated and contributed in any way to the ball, guests all had a brilliant evening and fulfilled Claire's instructions to dance, be merry and create something truly special.
Special thanks to everyone involved in Friends of Hartburn Primary School - Fohps who ensured the event ran without incident as well as our incredible hosts Hardwick Hall Hotel and their brilliant staff. We also wouldn't have had nearly as much fun without the incredible talents and entertainment from V12 Band, The Mobile Portrait Booth, Chris Cowl - Magician and Barron Media.
What a magnificent effort by the Prince Regent Street Trust and Friends of Hartburn Primary School - Fohps to raise more than £100,000 in an appeal that will create a new playground in honour of much-loved headteacher Claire Park who has MND.
Not just the legacy playground but supporting the Motor neurone Disease Association and raising awareness of the disease.
Pupils, staff, families and the community have done Claire proud. Humbling to see how it has come together and proud to have publicised the appeal.

LESS THAN ONE MONTH TO GO!
On Friday 1st May, a special Charity Ball will be held at Hardwick Hall Hotel — an evening not just of celebration, but of purpose. We are seeking sponsorships, donations, and support to help bring Mrs Park’s Park to life.
Every contribution, no matter the size, carries forward Claire’s legacy.
Every act of generosity helps turn a wish into something real for generations of children to come.
Claire Park, a much-loved former headteacher, dedicated her life to shaping young minds and nurturing her school community. Following her diagnosis with Motor Neurone Disease, Claire was forced to step away from the role she loved — but her impact has never faded.
In an incredible show of compassion, determination, and community spirit, Claire’s friends, family and colleagues have already raised an astonishing £33,788 (and counting) for the MND Association. A figure that speaks volumes about the lives she has touched and the legacy she continues to build. ❤️
But Claire’s story doesn’t end there.
One of her final wishes as Headteacher was to redeveloped an area of dilapidated playground to create something lasting for future generations — “Mrs Park’s Park” — a space where children can play, grow, and feel the same care and encouragement she gave so many.
The Prince Regent Street Trust is proud to support Friends of Hartburn Primary (Registered Charity No. 1121836) in making this vision a reality.
We are now calling on our community, individuals and businesses once again.
💛 Donate, sponsor, or share — and be part of something truly meaningful. 💛
