One of the most important parts of our festival is our Sensory Calm Room.

For children who find busy environments overwhelming, need somewhere quieter to regulate, or simply need a break from the excitement, this space is there for them. 🫶

🌿 Free to use
🧸 Calm, quieter environment
💙 A safe space to step away from the crowds
✨ Take as much time as your child needs

There is NO pressure to stay in the main festival area. Come in, explore, have fun, take a break, and return when you’re ready. ❤️

We’re so excited to be welcoming Animal Encounters to Naturetime Berwick Hills for a very special Dear Zoo themed Stay & Play afternoon! 📚🦁

📅 Wednesday 26th August�
⏰ 2pm–3pm�
📍 Naturetime Berwick Hills

Animal Encounters will be bringing along a selection of real-life animals, including reptiles, insects and other amazing creatures! 🐍🦎🪲🐌

The children will get to enjoy their own version of the Dear Zoo story, followed by a fun and interactive hour meeting and learning about the animals. It’s going to be such a lovely afternoon for little animal lovers! ❤️

💷 £5 per child�👨‍👩‍👧 One adult goes FREE per child�➕ Need to bring 2 adults for one child? An additional £5 is required for the extra space.

🎉 A fantastic milestone for Kash Retail!

Through its eight North East stores, Kash Retail has now donated more than £25,000 to local charities and community groups through Making a Difference Locally. 💗
The latest £1,000 donation will help Nature Time Nursery create a dedicated sensory room, providing an inclusive space where children can learn, grow and thrive.
From foodbanks and community safety projects to local events and inclusive spaces, these donations are helping make a real difference across the North East.

What. a. year.
We’ve: kept the food bank stocked all year, held another emotional graduation, had a garden transformation kindly donated from Glenn Evans-Campbell at Hartburn Roofing and completed by Highfield & Sons Gardening and Landscaping as part of Amani’s level 5 project, fundraised to send Christmas vouchers home, been nominated for a Heart of The Community Award by Nisa Wrensfield, watched our lovely Malaika achieve a Distinction in her Level 3 apprenticeship and worked with Dunelm to send Christmas gifts home, all the while being covered in mud, flour, paint, glitter with sand in our socks and happiness in our hearts!
None of this would have been possible with YOU, our wonderful families and children. Thank you so much for continuing to support our little nursery 💚

To those who have said goodbye this week we wish you all of the luck in the world for your new schools, to those who are coming back in September we’ll see you soon, and those who we are lucky enough to see throughout Summer - we can’t wait for lots more fun in the sun!
