Sarah's Little Learners

Wow, we've had a really good start to the new school year with lots of hard work from everybody! Some of my "little learners" have moved up to secondary school, so we've been working on science, French, art and even drama homework, as well as English and maths!

L thought we were playing a fun game this morning, but actually we were practising odd & even numbers, number bonds and mental addition! There were lots of giggles!

Good luck to all year 6's starting their SATs this morning. You can do this, just believe it ❤️

Maths & reading practice for L yesterday, but he thought he was only playing a game and beating me! Then some science: investigating the properties of different materials, sorting and recording his findings. Well done L, you worked so hard!

Learning doesn't have to be hard work, we like to play games and have brain breaks too!

Some lovely handwriting work from O this week and some tricky fractions. O struggles with concentration, so although his work isn't always the neatest, he has done brilliantly and deserves praise 👏👏 He likes to choose and use stamps as a reward for good effort. Well done O, I'm proud of you!

L was working hard yesterday - scissor control, handwriting and some tricky maths using base 10 blocks to help understand exchanging.

I'm back to work today and planning lessons. Each lesson is planned for each individual child for their learning style and needs.

A lovely day off today with my gorgeous big girl on her 17th birthday!
