This week has been bitter sweet 💛✨
We said goodbye (but not forever!) to groups who have been part of the Molly Freelance Dance family for the past 9 years this week.
A quote from a participant today that really struck a cord with us as we go into the next chapter…
“In life, you should make a difference and Molly, you have made a difference to all of us”
Molly Freelance Dance officially goes on Maternity leave from now and I will be logging off from all emails and messages regarding work for the foreseeable. Once I intend on coming back to work I will be in touch with an update.
I hope all our wonderful groups keep dancing, smiling and being amazing! I will miss the joy you bring to my life each week but looking forward to welcoming our own bundle of joy to the Molly Freelance Dance family very soon 💛✨😊

Today we were invited to Derby University to lead a 2.5 hour lecture to 2nd year Masters in Dance Movement Psychotherapy Students. It was a fabulous experience with 17 very engaged students who seemed to gain a lot from what the lecture offered to put into use for the remainder of their studies.

We got in the festive spirit this past week! 🎄✨ MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE from all of us at Molly Freelance Dance.
We are now closed until 11th January 2023. See you in the new year!

We love it when carehome residents just can’t resist the urge to get up and show off their dance moves! Full of festive spirit at Ryton Towers Care Home this afternoon 🎄✨❤️

We have been working on the nurturing side of our business lately and have had a new addition dancing (and growing!) alongside us in our dance/therapy sessions for the past few months 😁✨
All our classes will run until February Half Term, our last dance sessions being Friday 17th February 2023.
Our business page will be open throughout our maternity but all our classes will pause while we enjoy welcoming the newest dancing member to the Molly Freelance Dance family 😊
Once we are ready and able to return to dance facilitation, we will update you all in due course on our social media.
In the meantime, get booked in for our spring term classes! All existing groups will receive specific information in the next couple of weeks on how to do this.
Thank you all for your continued support, and for welcoming bump and my baby brain into our classes! 💜

We love the intergenerational impact our Carehome sessions can have when family and friends come to join in! ✨😊 when unlikely friendships form and there’s much laughter to be had!

Proud career moment 😁🎉

I am thrilled and honoured to announce that after recently qualifying in August as a Dance Movement Psychotherapist, the Association of Dance Movement Psychotherapist’s (ADMP UK) requested to share my presentation, “Living through our Skin”, at their 40 year Anniversary Conference in Birmingham this weekend (5th/6th Nov). My presentation will be shown on Sunday 6th November at 11.30am.
My presentation looks at The Skin in scientific terms in relation to the seven layers, and simultaneously through experiencing self touch/massage of these 7 layers and how my personal experience of skin cancer has been influenced by self massage as a healing process.

We had a fab afternoon at our Halloween Dance Camp 🎃 what a fabulous bunch of dancers- lots of spooky moves!

We have a new client added to our books! Neuroactiveuk- what a fabulous group of people to share our Movement for your Mind™️ session with. Looking forward to seeing and dancing with you all again soon! 😁💜
We have a few spaces left if anyone would like to grab them! 😁
