What a magical week we have had celebrating Mother’s Day 💐
Our little ladybirds have spent the week talking about all the reasons they love their mums. From cuddles and bedtime stories to playing games and making them laugh, their answers were truly amazing! ❤️
They absolutely loved creating their special cards and gifts, putting so much care and creativity into each one. We hope all our wonderful mums have a beautiful Mother’s Day and enjoy the lovely surprises made just for you. 🐞✨

What an exciting week we have had at Ladybird! 🤩

Our little Lady Birds have been busy taking part in gardening activities, planting seeds and bulbs ready for spring. We can’t wait to watch them grow! 🌷🌼

We have also been celebrating World Book Day, and it has been wonderful to see so many amazing costumes and the children enjoying their favourite stories. The most popular books this week were The Gruffalo and The Rainbow Fish! 🐟🦊

What a fantastic week we’ve had at Lady Bird! 🐞✨
Our little Ladybirds have been super busy celebrating Chinese New Year — getting stuck into themed crafts, exploring exciting sensory trays, and even tasting some delicious Chinese cuisine. We love seeing their curious little faces try new things! 🥢🎉

With the sunshine making a special appearance, we’ve also been busy little gardeners, planting seeds and learning all about how plants grow. Lots of tiny hands, a little bit of soil, and plenty of excitement! 🌱☀️
And of course, we couldn’t resist taking our creativity outside — enjoying painting in the garden and making the most of the fresh air. 🎨💛

What a lovely week we’ve had at LadyBird celebrating Pancake Day and Valentine’s Day! 💕🥞
All of our Lady Birds took part in some wonderful Valentine’s crafts, making special creations for the people they love. They also had so much fun decorating and making their very own yummy, delicious pancakes!
We are now closed for the February half term and will reopen on Monday 23rd February for another exciting week at Lady Bird. We can’t wait to see you all then! 💛✨

What a wonderful week our little Ladybirds have had celebrating National Storytelling Week! 📕

We’ve been exploring some much-loved stories, and our Ladybirds even brought in their own favourite books to share with their friends. 😃

Some of the key stories we focused on were The Gruffalo, Jack and the Beanstalk, The Rainbow Fish, and Room on the Broom — lots of imagination, sharing, and storytelling fun all round! ⭐

Another super busy week at Ladybird! 🐞
Our preschoolers have been enjoying Supertato by Sue Hendra, linking the story to writing activities, crafts, and exploring lots of different vegetables and healthy choices 🥕🥦📖

Our nursery Ladybirds have been busy exploring dinosaurs 🦖, discovering colours, sounds, and textures, and learning some new nursery rhymes 🎶✨
So much learning, fun, and curiosity all around — we love seeing our little Ladybirds grow! 💛

🐞 What an excellent week we’ve had at LadyBird! 🐞
Our Nursery Ladybirds have been enjoying their Old MacDonald Had a Farm theme 🐷🐮, exploring sensory-themed tuff trays and even making their very own pig snacks – lots of fun and learning through play!
Meanwhile, our Preschool Ladybirds have been busy in the kitchen making cheese toasties 🧀🍞 and focusing on letters, phonics, and early writing skills ✏️📚.
