It’s a common misconception that opening your heart and home to a foster child will drain your bank account. Here’s how it actually works:

Financial Allowances; Foster parents receive regular payments to cover all costs associated with the child’s care (food, clothing, activities, and personal items), plus a little extra for their time and dedication.

No High-Income Requirement: You don't need a huge salary or to own a mansion. As long as you have a stable, secure income to cover your own household expenses and a spare bedroom, you’re in a great position to foster.
