🎉🌍 Celebrating 100 Years of Sir David Attenborough! 🌍🎉

Today we celebrate an absolute legend — David Attenborough — turning 100!

For generations, he’s brought the wonders of the natural world right into our homes, inspiring millions of children (and grown-ups!) to fall in love with animals, from the tiniest insects to the largest creatures on Earth 🐜🐘💚

We see that same spark of curiosity at schools and parties — and its heroes like Sir David who helped ignite it in the first place.

Here’s to a century of storytelling, discovery, and protecting our planet. From The Wild Roadshow team, Happy birthday Sir David.

Which of his documentaries is your favourite?

😅

The Wild Roadshow isn’t going anywhere — we promise we’re still bringing the energy and the real wild experiences you love.

But we have to admit…
The Mild Roadshow was quite nice while it lasted.

Huge thanks to everyone who played along (and to those who were slightly concerned… sorry 👀)

Happy April Fool’s! 🌿

🚨 BIG ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨

After a lot of thought… we’ve decided to rebrand.

Introducing… The Mild Roadshow 🌿

Gone are the wild adventures you’ve all come to love.

Instead, we’re embracing a calmer, more predictable experience:

✔️ Mildly interesting facts
✔️ Very relaxed animals (mostly sitting down)
✔️ Controlled excitement levels (nothing above a 3/10)
✔️ A strong focus on… gentle vibes

Our new slogan?
“It’s… quite nice, actually.”

We believe this change will really help us appeal to people who prefer their roadshows like their tea… lukewarm. ☕

Bookings for The Mild Roadshow are now open.
(No sudden movements, please.)

We started The Wild Roadshow back in 2006…

Long before Facebook and social media were what they are today — so we know there are SO many memories out there we don’t even have photos of! 📸

If we’ve ever visited your school, party, or event over the years, we’d LOVE to see your photos 💚

Drop them in the comments or message us — we’re putting together something special for our 20th anniversary 🎉

Since 2006… 🎉

What started as a passion for animals and education has grown into 20 years of unforgettable experiences 🐍🦎 🕷️🐌🪳

From our very first school visit back in 2006 we’ve had the privilege of inspiring young animal lovers.

We’ve seen nervous little hands turn into confident animal handlers, and curious minds fall in love with the natural world 💚

And now… it’s our turn to celebrate 🎂

To mark 20 amazing years, we’re offering 20% OFF all bookings as a huge THANK YOU to everyone who’s supported us along the way 🎉
Quote 20th birthday to take advantage.

Here’s to the next 20 years of wild adventures! 🐾

🧪🐾 British Science Week 2026: Curiosity – what’s your question?

This year’s theme is all about encouraging children to ask why, how and what if — and there’s no better way to spark curiosity than meeting real animals up close.

Curious minds love animals!

Why do snakes flick their tongues?
Why are some animals nocturnal?
What makes mammals different from reptiles?
How do animals adapt to their habitats?

Our hands on workshops invite pupils to ask questions and explore the wonderful world of animals.
