AI vs real human....

We’ve always taken pride in offering 'real human' support to learners throughout our Level 2 and Level 3 courses.

Our mentors build genuine, trusting relationships with students — supporting them not only with course content, but also being there when life’s challenges make studying that little bit harder.

That personal touch shines through in the feedback our mentors receive.

Most recently, Kelly — who achieved a Level 3 Distinction, after securing a Level 2 Distinction last year — shared this lovely message about her mentor, Nancy:

“I did the Level 2 and just completed Level 3 and I could not have asked for more support than I received from Nancy. She was great, helpful, easy to talk to, and a great mentor.”

In a world where we’re increasingly encouraged to rely on AI for everything, we’re proud to continue delivering the one thing technology can’t replicate:

✨ Real people offering real connection, reassurance, and encouragement.

Congratulations again, Kelly — and thank you to Nancy and all our dedicated mentors who make stories like this possible.

October is ADHD awareness month.

TIME BLINDNESS:

One of the big challenges my daughter faces is time blindness. Using visual aids such as countdown timers, large clocks and apps are of some benefit to her but if anyone has any excellent resources to help manage this please let me know....our mornings getting her out of the door in time for school can be tough going at times!

'Time blindness is the term used to describe the difficulty many people with ADHD have in accurately perceiving the passage of time. You might find that you easily lose track of time while doing an activity you enjoy, suddenly realising hours have passed when it felt like only a few minutes. Or, you might be overly optimistic about how long it will take to complete a task, only to run out of time because you underestimated the steps involved.'

This article explains time blindness brilliantly: https://www.simplypsychology.org/adhd-time-blindness.html
