Greave gets Goosebumps is back for another year 😈
On Friday 23rd October we have a whole day of fang-tastic fun and spooky activities including the
return of the best pumpkin competition in the country! (It really is the talk of the town)
There will be lots of Halloween themed activities during the day including boo-eautiful arts and
crafts in class, spooky stories in the Hocus Pocus Outdoor classroom and a Dracula Disco
including a disco dome and bouncy castle 🎫
All details have been sent to parents and carers this afternoon so check your School Spider app!
The day will be non-uniform for all pupils who are welcome to come dressed in their own
clothes or Halloween themed costumes 🧙♂️
If you have any Halloween themed decorations at home that you would like to donate we would be extremely grateful. Please drop them into the school office 🔮
If you are thinking of entering the pumpkin competition you are welcome to be as creative as you like with carving, painting and
decorating your design. Judging will take place on the morning of the 23rd October and we will
be proudly displaying your masterpieces around the school grounds. We know how much our
local community love seeing how creative we are here at Greave and it really is a showstopper
of a display! 🎃
Sign up via your ParentPay account where you will be issued with a unique number which you will need to write somewhere on your pumpkin to ensure the competition is judged anonymously (please do not use your child’s name)
There are three themes to inspire you when designing your pumpkin (please state which
category you are entering in the comments section of ParentPay):
🌟 Celebrity
👻 Spooky
🌎 Eco
Once you have completed your design and been issued with your unique entry number, you can
display your pumpkins at the front of school in the corresponding category from Thursday 22nd
October
We cannot wait to see your creepy creations!🧛♀️
