Burnage Rugby Club Burnage Rugby Club was founded as an old boys' club for ex-pupils of Burnage High School. On the field the club is developing quickly.
In the 1970s we moved from our one pitch site on Queensway in Burnage, Manchester, to our beautiful green belt site in Heaton Mersey, Stockport where you can find us today. We have had our fair share of difficulties, including two recent fires which destroyed the club house and its temporary replacement respectively. In light of the RFUs decision to postpone the start of the season due to dry grass, we have decided to go ahead with our preseason game(s) against Rochdale Rugby Union Football Club - Official and Aldwinians RUFC

About Friday night!
What an amazing evening Stockport Rugby Club 🖤💛❤️💚
Old rivals came together in support of .chappell87 and the MS Society and put on a spectacle under the evening summer sun ☀️
With lots of familiar faces in attendance and lads coming out of retirement (including 60 year old Andrew Merrick) to play, the game was played in good spirits with Burnage narrowly coming out on top.
The real winner was raising over £10,000 for the MS Society in just one evening. Taking the total of what the brothers have raised to £20,000! An absolutely incredible feet 🙌

Brothers in arms!
Tomorrow night we will take on Stockport Rugby Club in a charity rugby match in aid of MS Society 🧡
Our Skipper Jordan Charlie Chappell brother David, has recently been diagnosed with MS and as a family they’re banding together to raise as much money and awareness for the charity as possible.
As a Stockport stalwart, David has challenged Burnage legend Jordan to a derby game this Friday.
With several icons of Burnage dusting off their boots and out of retirement to play, the evening promises to be a guaranteed spectacle of flair, passion and excitement.
Aside from the rugby there will be a bbq, raffles, tombolas and more with all proceeds going to the MS Society.
