How many times have you said you'll learn Spanish one day? 🇪🇸

We've got a new adult class starting on Tuesday 3rd November, 7 pm to 9 pm, with Adriana.

Classes will run for 2 hours per week at La Academia, Cheadle, over 6 consecutive weeks. Only £120 for the full course!

If you've never done any Spanish before, that's fine. Most people who come along haven't, which is why we designed our Complete Beginners class. Adriana keeps things relaxed and fun, so you'll be surprised how quickly you start chatting.

You only really need three German phrases for Oktoberfest 🍺

🍺 Ein Maß, bitte - your golden ticket to a litre of the good stuff
🚻 Wo ist die Toilette? - Second only to the first one in importance

Funny thing is, lots of people who swore German was too hard come to us at this time of year wanting to learn it. A few festival phrases are usually how it starts, and before long they're having proper conversations.

Could one short poem teach you more than a page of grammar?

Yesterday was National Poetry Day, but any day is a good day for a poem. Poems are short enough to read again and again, and each time new words and sounds sink in a little deeper.

Try reading one aloud in Spanish, French or Italian. You'll hear the rhythm and music of the language in a way a textbook can't show you.
