Great teams are built by coaches who know exactly what they are doing, and why. 📣

Our Foundation Cheerleading Skills course is where that starts. In one day you work through both the practical and the theory side of coaching:

✅ Planning sessions that actually move your athletes forward
✅ Health and safety, warm-ups and cool-downs done properly
✅ Arm motions, jumps and vocal skills, with the technique behind them
✅ Choreography you can take straight back to your training

Successful participants receive the UKCA Foundation Cheerleading Skills Certificate of Qualification. You also walk away with more confidence every time you stand in front of your team.

Your athletes trust you with their progress and their safety. This is how you show them that trust is well placed.

The 2026/2027 UKCA Rules & Regulations are here. 📘

A new season means updated rules, and every routine you build from now on should follow them.

Coaches, before you finalise choreography for the Winter Championships, sit down with the full document and go through it with your team. On the same page you will also find the current score sheets and the Hard Medical Items Risk Assessment form.

Coaches, read this before your team order. 👟

Team orders usually go wrong in the same three places.

✅ Sizing. Collect every size early and order them together, so nobody trains in the wrong shoe.
✅ Consistency. Keep the whole squad in the same shoe, from first practice to competition day.
✅ Timing. Order before the season gets busy, so every athlete has trained in their shoes before the first competition.

For new athletes, we recommend the Firefly, now shipping from the UK with free delivery and free returns.

A cheaper pair always looks like a win in September. By December the grip is gone, the sole has gone flat, and the ankle support went with it.

That is not only a money problem.

Grip and support are safety features, not comfort features. Worn grip is what you land on. A flattened sole is what your ankle rolls over. When landings start going wrong, the shoes are the first thing a coach checks, and the last thing an athlete thinks about.

Here is what you are actually paying for with the Firefly.

✅ Grip that holds through a full season, not a few weeks
✅ A flexible sole that moves with your foot on jumps and tumbling passes
✅ A locked in fit that supports flyers and bases where it matters
✅ Competition ready white that still looks clean in month four

zephz has been building sport specific footwear since 1998 and we are an official partner. The Firefly now ships from right here in the UK with free delivery and free returns, so trying your size costs you nothing.
