Nicola Hunt Childminding

A busy 1st week back, we welcomed our newest member to the gang, and we've definitely enjoyed being outdoors more this week! PE for Preschool session, soft play, toddlers, 3 different parks/playgrounds, and a Footy Totz session to end the week! We've loved seeing nature at it's finest, used our mathematical language to describe the fallen trees in Bramhall Park. Kicked, climbed, balanced, ridden, slid and swung in all sorts of different places. Problem solved and used our imaginations to make up stories with our friends. Who needs toys when you have 2 big cardboard boxes? 😍
Think Nicola needs a restful weekend to recharge, ready to go again next week! 😁

Back open tomorrow after my week's break, and it's my 1st week using the new safeguarding initiative called LittleLink ID.

This system has been set up by a fellow Childminder to help us safeguard the children in our care while out and about.

I'm really pleased that this has been set up and I am able to implement it for us now!

Lovely to see the sunshine and daffodils this week - think this is my favourite time of year! Here are some photos from March so far....We've been busy with Boogie Beats, Footy Totz, PE for Preschool, soft play, toddler groups, crafts for Mother's Day and St Patrick's Day, playing at the park and in the garden. As one of my little ones said today "We've had lots of fun!" 😍

Didn't post these for Mother's Day yesterday as didn't want to spoil any surprises. Hope our wonderful Mummies all had a lovely day!

Alongside our usual weekly activities, the children and I celebrated Chinese New Year with an early visit to Rainbow 88 in Cheadle Hulme on Thursday. We had lots of yummy food, learnt about some traditions and watched the amazing Lion Dance. Kung Hei Fat Choi!
