Miss Evans is helping to change the conversation around visible differences. 💙
Earlier this year, Miss Evans attended the Campaigner Day, where she was interviewed about her experience as a primary school teacher with a visible difference.
Born with a strawberry haemangioma, a type of birthmark, beneath her eye, Miss Evans underwent numerous operations to protect her sight and reconstruct her face. Today, she proudly shares her story to raise awareness, challenge perceptions and encourage greater understanding and inclusion.
🏫 In the video, she talks about her experiences as a teacher with a visible difference and the importance of helping parents understand how they can support children with visible differences in school.
She also shares how much she loves teaching at Lady Barn and how grateful she is to be part of such an inclusive, welcoming and diverse school community, surrounded by supportive friends and colleagues. 💛

🎉 Congratulations to Mr Choudhary on recently completing his second apprenticeship at LBHS! 🎓👏
Mr Choudhary is a valued member of our school community and has achieved a Distinction in his Level 4 Cyber Security Technologist Apprenticeship – a fantastic achievement that reflects his hard work, commitment and dedication throughout the programme. 💻🔐
Building on the success of his previously completed Level 3 Information Communications Technician Apprenticeship at Lady Barn, Mr Choudhary continues to develop his skills and expertise while making a valuable contribution to our school community. 🌟

We’re delighted to share some very exciting news with our school community… our plans for a brand-new 2+ Nursery at Lady Barn can now move forward! 🏡🌱
Following the confirmation of planning permission, we’re one step closer to creating a wonderful space where even younger children can learn, explore and grow, beginning their very own Lady Barn journey from the age of two. 💛
The nursery will be a natural extension of our established Early Years provision, creating even more opportunities for our youngest children to thrive in a warm, nurturing and inspiring environment. 🧸✨
