⭐️⭐️ Our star of the month for September is Roisin!! ⭐️⭐️

Roisin is always a delight and very respectful in every class she takes part in. After starting dance a little later than her classmates, she has picked everything up so well and is now improving even further in her ballet and tap classes. Well done Roisin!!

Why do we ask for hair in a bun for class? 🩰👱‍♀️

It’s more than just part or the uniform!

A neat bun keeps hair away from the face, helps teachers clearly see posture and alignment and allows dancers to focus without distraction.

It also teaches the discipline and presentation that are all part of dance training.

Hair up, uniform on, ready to dance! 💙

10 things that require 0 talent 💙⭐️

Being a great dancer isn’t just about how high you can kick, how many turns you can do or how quickly you pick up choreography.

Some of the most important things we learn through dance don’t require talent at all.

Effort. Kindness. Listening. Teamwork. Resilience. Showing up and giving it another go.

These are the things we’re just as proud to see our pupils develop at BSA - both inside and outside the studio ✨🧑‍🩰
