The wait is almost over!

If you're in receipt of Universal Credit, your child could now be eligible for Free School Meals.

It only takes a couple of minutes to check, and registering can save you money. It also means the school receives additional funding to support students, even if you choose not to take up the meals.

🌍 | Language Ambassadors Visit Local Primary Schools
Before the end of term, our Language Ambassadors spent a very hot day visiting six local primary schools, covering almost 8 miles as they delivered their very own French and Spanish lessons to younger pupils.

They did a brilliant job representing Priestnall and sharing their enthusiasm for languages. We're incredibly proud of the way they engaged with pupils throughout the day.

What a special project this has been!

After spending time getting to know residents at Priestnall Court Care Home, our Art Ambassadors created personalised artworks inspired by their stories.

The students later returned to surprise residents with the finished pieces, leading to some truly touching moments.

🎶 | An Evening of Music Awaits Tonight – Laurus Live 2026

We’re thrilled to be welcoming families to Aviva Studios this evening for a spectacular celebration of music from across the Laurus Trust.

Our incredible young people are ready to take to the stage and showcase their talent – we can’t wait to see you there! ✨

🐝 | Trust Spelling Bee Finals
Well done to our Year 7 and 8 students who represented Priestnall at the Trust Languages Spelling & Grammar Bee Finals before half term.

The competition was incredibly tough, but our students showed fantastic talent, skill and speed throughout. We are delighted to announce that Priestnall School were the winners of the French competition!

🎥 | Film Music Concert
Last month, students from Hazel Grove and Priestnall attended a Film Music concert at the Bridgewater Hall, performed by the renowned Hallé Orchestra.

The programme included selections from Star Wars, Harry Potter, How to Train your Dragon, Jurassic Park and more. The orchestra were simply incredible, and students thoroughly enjoyed the concert! Thanks to our dedicated staff who supported the students to experience what was an unforgettable day.

Selections from How to Train your Dragon will be featured at our very own Trust-wide concert - Laurus Live, which takes place next week!
