🏃‍♀️ Athletics Update – Stockport Champs Success! 🏅
On Thursday 6th June, Bramhall’s athletics teams delivered outstanding performances at the Stockport Championships held at Woodbank Park.
A fantastic 52 students from Years 8–10 represented the school, competing against 15 schools across the borough. Every Year 8 and 9 student took part in at least one event, while our Year 10 athletes competed in both track and field disciplines – showing great commitment and all-round ability.
👏 We are incredibly proud to celebrate 18 podium finishes and an amazing achievement of 3 students qualifying to represent Stockport at the Greater Manchester Championships next month!

🥈 2nd Place Finishes:
Holly R (200m), Will M (Long Jump), Leighton M (Long Jump), Conor T (200m)
🥉 3rd Place Finishes:
Nyla S (800m), Holly R (100m), Archie S (800m), Seth B (Shot Put), Lucas H (200m)

We love seeing former pupils making waves in the industry — don’t miss it!

Year 9 drama have taken on some powerful themes this term, using the DfE’s Educate Against Hate resources and the Netflix drama Adolescence as inspiration.

Through new drama techniques and striking mask work, pupils explored masculinity, hidden emotions and the pressures young people face today.

Their work sparked thoughtful conversations around bullying, misogyny and gender roles — and we couldn’t be prouder of their maturity and creativity.
