Just to confirm that Bramhall High School will re-open on Thursday 3rd September, and all students should be in school by 8:30am.

🎤🌟 Congratulations to Jack and Alissa! 🌟🎤
A huge well done to Jack and Alissa in Year 10 for reaching the North West Speak Out Regional Final!
This is an incredible achievement, with only 12 students selected from schools across the region to take part. Both students delivered a two-minute speech on a topic they are passionate about in front of a live audience and VIP guests, including the Mayor of Greater Manchester.
What a fabulous opportunity to showcase their confidence, public speaking skills and passion for their chosen subjects. We are incredibly proud of everything they have achieved and the way they represented our school.

💡✨ Bright Ideas in Design & Technology! ✨💡

Last term, our Year 10 Resistant Materials students were challenged with a design brief based on 'Lighting' – and the results were outstanding!

Using pine, plywood and high-impact polystyrene, students designed and manufactured their own angle poise and shadow box lights. Throughout the project, they developed a wide range of practical and technical skills, including:

🔨 Using machine and hand tools independently
💻 Computer-Aided Design (CAD)
🛠️ Vacuum forming
⚡ Laser cutting
🎨 Designing, making and finishing techniques

The project provided a fantastic opportunity for students to refine their creativity, problem-solving abilities and craftsmanship while producing high-quality finished products they can be proud of.

👏 Well done, Year 10! The DT department is incredibly proud of your hard work, commitment and impressive achievements.

🎭✨ Year 9 Thespians on Tour! ✨🎭

Congratulations to our fantastic Year 9 Drama students, who recently took their original devised performances on tour to Nevill Road Junior School, Pownall Green Primary School and Queensgate Primary School.

The interactive, creative and comedic performances were a huge hit with primary pupils, who thoroughly enjoyed watching the talented young actors bring their ideas to life.

Following the performances, our students led engaging drama workshops, working alongside younger pupils to create and perform their own pieces while developing new skills and confidence.

We are incredibly proud of our Year 9 students, who were outstanding ambassadors for Bramhall High School, demonstrating excellent leadership, creativity and enthusiasm throughout the tour.

🎭🌟 High School Musical is coming to Bramhall High School! 🌟🎭

This summer, over 150 students from Years 7–10 auditioned for Bramhall High School's 2027 production of Disney's High School Musical!

We're delighted to announce that our huge cast has now been selected and rehearsals will begin in September. A massive thank you to everyone who auditioned – the talent on display was incredible.

📣 Due to overwhelming demand, we've added an extra performance night!

📅 Performance Dates: 9th–12th February 2027

🎟️ Keep an eye out for ticket sales launching soon. With so much excitement already building, we're expecting performances to sell out quickly!

Students have set off on a range of exciting educational visits, travelling near and far to broaden their horizons, embrace new experiences and create lifelong memories.

🎾 An Unforgettable Wimbledon Experience! 🎾
Our Year 7 and 8 students enjoyed an amazing two-day trip to London, with the highlight being a visit to the Wimbledon Championships on 2nd July.
Students watched world-class tennis, including Taylor Fritz, relaxed on Henman Hill, sampled Wimbledon strawberries 🍓, explored the museum and even had souvenirs signed by players. The trip also included a visit to the Natural History Museum and a tour of London's famous landmarks.
We are incredibly proud of how our students represented the school throughout the visit, showing excellent behaviour, enthusiasm and maturity. A truly memorable experience for all! 🎾🏆
