Our amazing Annie retired today! We are all going to miss her so much but wish her all the best for the future. Annie was very grateful for all the well wishes & gifts from parents, children & staff. She plans to enjoy her retirement spending time with her family & long dog walks 🐝🥰

An official government e-petition calling for early years providers in England to be exempt from business rates has already reached 1,300+ signatures — but we need your help to go further.

📈 With some settings facing business rate rises of over 50% this April, the reality is simple:

these extra costs don’t disappear — they risk being passed on to families through higher childcare fees, or worse, settings being forced to close.

👉 If the petition reaches 10,000 signatures, the government must respond.

👉 At 100,000 signatures, it can be debated in Parliament.

We are currently seeking both part-time and full-time professionals who have their Level 2 or 3 Qualification in Early Childhood Education. At our nursery, we prioritize creating a supportive environment where practitioners are valued, encouraged to grow professionally, and play a vital role in children's development. Responsibilities:
- Implement the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum to facilitate children's learning and development.
- Provide a safe, secure, and stimulating environment for children to explore and learn.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative approach to childcare.
- Manage daily activities and routines while fostering a positive atmosphere for children to thrive.
- Demonstrate leadership skills by guiding and supporting children in their social, emotional, and educational growth.
- Engage in creative activities such as singing, dancing, and storytelling to enhance children's experiences.
- Support children in their exploration, investigation, and discovery of the world around them.
Qualifications:
- Level 2/ 3 qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent.
- Proven experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting.
- Strong communication skills in English to interact with children, parents, and team members effectively.
- Passion for working with young children and creating enriching learning experiences.
- Ability to manage responsibilities independently while also collaborating within a team environment.
