Our nursery ice cream parlour was full of colour, imagination and creativity today 🍦✨
With play foam, pretend ice cream and lots of curious minds, the children created their own play experiences sparking conversations, laughter, smiles and endless fun.
These invitations to play are some of the most meaningful ways children learn and develop; building communication, confidence, social skills and imagination through joyful experiences 💛
This week for Mental Health Awareness Week, our team have been focusing on wellbeing through mindful moments and meaningful play. 💚
We have enjoyed yoga, meditation, threading the colour green through our activities, calming sensory play, exploring musical instruments, and spending time in nature. We have also loved caring for and discovering the plants we have started to grow. 🌱
Supporting children’s emotional wellbeing through play, connection, and calm experiences is so important, and we’ve had a wonderful week learning together.
