A huge thank you to High Peak Comps for the treats for Archie and Linda (which are very well deserved!) and the new scooters to add to our OPAL Play Revolution next term!

Wonderful afternoon at Woodley Primary School to treat both humans and hounds! 👏

Archie is a therapy dog who visits Woodley Primary School every fortnight, providing comfort to staff and students (and he even visits hospitals and care homes as well) 🐶

Not only did we get treats for both Archie and dog mum Linda, but High Peak Comps has also donated a load of new scooters to the Stockport school! 🛴

🌲 Now that the bags are (mostly) unpacked and the children have had a chance to catch up on some sleep, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on our incredible Year 6 residential to Robinwood!

​From tackling the Giant Swing to showing amazing resilience on the Piranha Pool, our pupils truly pushed themselves out of their comfort zones.

​🌟 ​We couldn't be prouder of our Year 6s. Their wonderful behaviour, kindness toward one another and can-do attitude were noticed by everyone. You represented our school brilliantly, and you should be very proud of yourselves!

​💙 ​A residential trip simply wouldn't happen without the dedication of our amazing staff. We want to say a huge thank you to the team who gave up their own time away from their families to ensure the children had a safe, fun and unforgettable experience.

We had a busy afternoon and evening here at Robinwood, but lots of fun and time to challenge ourselves throughout!

The sun is shining and we’re having a great time here at Robinwood.

We’ve already done so much today and it is only lunchtime!

We’ve had an incredible first day! Our adventurers arrived full of energy and have spent the day aiming high, both literally and figuratively!

It’s been a whirlwind of action, including:

🔦 Navigating the Caving tunnels

🏹 Showing off Archery skills

🧗‍♂️ Conquering the High Ropes

🐟 Escaping the Piranha Pool

We are so impressed by how resilient and confident the children have been while tackling these challenges.

After a very busy day, the centre is quiet.

Everyone is tucked up and fast asleep, recharging their batteries for another big day tomorrow! 💤✨
