🍪 toddlers have been decorating biscuits today!

A fun activity that helps develop hand and eye coordination as they use the spoon to scoop icing onto the biscuit. They then used their pincers to sprinkle the toppings on.

Some toddlers didn’t get to the end of the activity, the biscuit was too good, so they ate it 🤣

👕 Look what we’ve been doing!

Pre-School have been busy this week making their very own tie-dye T-shirts. They chose which colours they would like to use and then squeezed them onto their white T-shirts (with help from Emma).

They will be ready tomorrow to take home 🏠

This morning two of our Marple Childcare Company team took on the Stockport 10k. Rachel from Swann Lane Pre-school and Adele from Just 4 twos preschool.

It was lovely to see lots of support and familiar faces along the way cheering for us both!

So much fun had at Just 4 Twos today! The children have been talking about water balloons for ages, so today we had a big water fight in the garden.

Children followed the rules of 'no face splashing', and they did well taking turns of the water guns.

I think the staff got the most soaked and they even had to change their clothes!

Last week toddlers and pre school developed their physical skills by exploring this den.

Lisa added tape to the cube and the children had to navigate their way through, ducking, crawling and dodging the tape. A great way to develop balance and control of our bodies

The youth centre in adswood has some family fun every Friday (term time only). Any family can join in the fun 🤩

Small fee of £5 per child or £10 per family

Invite is open to anybody

🏫 Today we have been talking about school again!

This time looking at school uniforms. The children had different uniforms to try on - shirts, T-shirts, jumpers, skirts and dresses.
The children had a go putting on the uniforms and then looked in the mirror at themselves. Commenting “I look like my sister”, some children have older family members that go to school.

Those children going off to school in September talked about what colour their uniforms are going to be, excitedly yelling each other “my uniform is green”, “my uniform will be blue”. They then painted uniform picture.
