Our Preschool children absolutely love a good party and often talk together about their upcoming birthdays or parties they have attended over the weekend, sharing their experiences with us.

Yesterday, to keep on following this interest, we gave our play dough table a party theme. The children had so much fun writing party invitations, weighing out play dough cake ingredients and counting out candles, as they all sang happy birthday and celebrated each other.

Reading and understanding our emotions📚
Our Pre school children have been looking at the colour monster story, especially our older children who are getting ready to take the next step to big school!
Emotions can be hard for young children to understand so with adult support we have been explaining how it is ok to feel sad or worried. It is also great to feel happy and excited.

This is a massive achievement! Well done to all our winners 💚🧡

Ice Painting!💧
Too keep cool we enjoyed some ice painting before the sunshine got too hot!
Exploring lots of colour mixing and experimenting with different colours too🎨
The children used a range or big and small paintbrushes, we named colours and used lots of different words to describe how the ice felt 'cold' 'melting' 'freezing' ☀

During the heatwave some or children made some yummy banana and strawberry Milkshakes 🍓🥛

Our independent Individuals poured their own milk into the jugs, then chopped up the fruit they were wanting to use, a adult blended all the fruits together.

We then added our fruity puree and milked it all together to make some delicious refreshing drinks ☀️
