Let’s make Bonfire Night magical and safe for our children.



Here’s how:

👀 Supervise closely – There’s no substitute for adult supervision. Keep little ones close and always in sight.

🧤 Sparkler safety – Only give sparklers to children over 5. Make sure they wear gloves, hold one at a time, and keep it at arm’s length.

🚫 Hands off fireworks – Teach children never to touch fireworks—even after they’ve gone off. They can still burn.

🧥 Dress smart – Avoid loose or flammable costumes. Wrap kids up warm in snug, fire-safe clothing.

🔥 Bonfire boundaries – Keep children well back and never let them throw anything into the fire.

✋ STOP, DROP & ROLL – Practice this life-saving move in case clothes catch fire:

ROLL over and over to put out flames
