Lecropt Nursery & Bridge of Allan Out of School Care

Lecropt Nursery & Bridge of Allan Out of School Care Lecropt Nursery has an excellent reputation with parents and has become a favourite with their child

Lecropt Nursery is perfectly located for accessing public transport and joining nearby motorways, making drop off and collection stress free. The convenient location also allows staff to take children on regular visits into the community: visiting the library, parks, and surrounding green spaces. Playrooms provide a homely feel, with daily access into the garden that is full of exciting things to explore. The small number of children in each room makes them feel safe and secure, and ensures excellent care. The team at Lecropt are friendly, caring and supportive of the children and of each other. They work together to nurture each child, allowing them to make friends, ask questions, explore and enjoy learning.

After several training sessions, we are delighted to announce that Lecropt Nursery has been given the "We Promise" award!

The training that the team have engaged and participated in has:

Raised awareness and understanding of The Promise (the commitment made by the Scottish Government to improving the experiences and outcomes for Scotland’s care experienced children and young people), and our responsibilities as corporate parents
helped practitioners understand the needs of children and young people and what we can do to support them.

We have also now created our individual Nursery's Promise!

We have also successfully created our own bank of learning resources to extend this learning for our team with the support of one of our adoptive parents.
