Summer kids lessons are back! Held at Beechwood Park in Stirling, our private lessons run for 30 minutes.

We recommend you book at least two lessons for your child and ideally have some practice time in between, so they can work on the skills they were taught in their lesson.

We can provide bikes and helmets for any kiddos who need to borrow them.

What started as a simple idea to get families outdoors has become a weekly highlight for parents and children in Glasgow.

Through our Connecting Communities project, Gillian and the team at Early Years Scotland are helping families build confidence, try cycling for the first time and discover the joy of being active together, from cargo bike adventures to side-by-side rides in the park.

“It brings back memories from being a child, the inner child comes out.”

Many rural communities want safe, traffic-free paths, and a lot of them are hitting brick walls in their efforts to get them built…

That’s why journalist, Laura Laker has created the Rural Path Campaigner Toolkit, packed with real‑world advice from communities who’ve actually delivered greenways.

The research behind it is pretty stark:
🚧 Over a quarter of councils are struggling to deliver paths
🛤️ 100+ miles of routes are stalled because of land access issues
🤝 Communities are pushing for 200+ miles of paths largely on their own

The toolkit shares practical steps, honest case studies and audio interviews, plus support from experienced path builders like John Grimshaw, founder of the National Cycle Network.

If you care about rural transport, access to nature or safer ways to travel without a car, it’s well worth a read 👇
