This job is located in Scotland and you will have the option to work remotely.
This is initially a 6 month fixed-term contract. This could potentially lead to a permanent position, which will be discussed further at interview stage.
We are currently seeking an Engagement & Partnership Coordinator to work across a few of our Scottish contracts. You will promote our services to potential referral organisations and individuals. With the aim of ensuring individuals that require our support, know what is on offer and are encouraged to join our programmes(s).
You will have a background from either employability, training, education or learning and the ability to actively promote our services through various platforms (e.g. social media, marketing campaigns, building professional partnerships).
You will also work very closely with your colleagues in identifying any gaps in our service provision and support and seek out alternative options.
As you will be supporting various programmes with different requirements, you will need the ability to work effectively under pressure to varying deadlines and be motivated by results.
You will be comfortable with and have experience of working to performance targets. Helping to ensure our programmes are highly successful and achieve commissioner targets. Influencing and negotiation skills are essential, ensuring we achieve the number of referrals and programme starts required as per commissioner expectations.
All of our contracts are commissioner led, meaning we must adhere to strict quality and compliance regimes. You will therefore have a keen eye for detail with excellent administrative skills. Ideally with experience of having had to adhere to compliance measures in the past. You will also have a continuous improvement mindset, striving for excellence and taking pride in the work you and your fellow colleagues deliver. Sharing ideas and best practice will come naturally to you as will taking on additional or different tasks to get the job done to the highest of standards.
You will have outstanding people skills with the ability to negotiate and motivate through action. Ideally you will have a background from employability, training, education or learning and a true passion for supporting and positively impacting the lives of others. You will be comfortable promoting our services through various channels with a creative, solutions-based mindset. Understanding the needs of our programme participants will be essential. This will allow you to effectively communicate the benefits of the programme and customise the programme description for potential participants.

We are happy to launch the Scottish Government’s new Women Returners Programme in Scotland.
Our new Review, Refresh, Return Programme will support women to return to good work or improve their work skills following a career break.
The programme is fully flexible and offers a wide range of support and advice tailored to each one’s aspirations and preferences.
All services are free to participants and are delivered in one-to-one or group sessions, online and in person. Women interested in the programme should be 25 or over, have undertaken paid employment at some point in the past, and have not worked for six months or more.

We are delighted to be delivering the Department for Work and Pensions' Restart scheme across Middlesbrough, Redcar, Cleveland, and Hartlepool.
Restart offers tailored employability support to people who have been out of work for at least 12 months and are in receipt of universal credit. Under the scheme, they will be given help to find a job and stay at work. The support on offer is designed to be flexible and will be personalised for each participant.
