Ted Leeming at Stirling Photography Festival.
Joining us at Macrobert Arts Centre is Ted Leeming with his exhibition "If Place Mirrors Who We Are, What Does It Reflect?"
Ted's practice engages with climate change, biodiversity, place and the cultural narratives driving our twin existential emergencies β with the role of arts and photography in responding to them.
Based in Galloway, Ted is drawn to immersive, low-impact projects and place-based explorations of environmental and social relevance, delivered through research, engagement, and collaborative, audience specific outcomes. Through his work he aims to start conversations, shift behaviours, and influence policy.
Photography β traditional, abstract, and alternative β sits at the core of his practice, increasingly augmented by multi-sensory approaches, AV, mapping, illustration, and accompanying words.
Ted and his partner Morag Paterson have contributed to the festival over the years and we are delighted to have Ted back sharing his current works through exhibition and conversation.
