We are deeply saddened to receive the news that former pupil Colin Cairney has passed away. Colin was a much loved member of our school community who had a promising future ahead of him. We send our heartfelt condolences to his family and many friends at this extremely difficult time.

Non Uniform Day - Friday 19 June
A reminder that this Friday, to celebrate Scotland’s Men’s historic win against Haiti, will be a non-uniform day. This is also our Scotland Day and the day of Scotland’s second match against Morocco. Pupils have been asked to sign up to an activity using the form in their yeargroup classroom.

All pupils who would like to take part are encouraged to wear something blue/a Scotland top and bring in a money donation if they are able. All monies raised will be donated to CALM - the su***de prevention charity that provides life-saving services and practical mental health support to anyone who needs it. Four of our S6s are also walking the West Highland Way in July to raise money for this important charity. S6 fundraiser for CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably)

We are very saddened to hear the news of the serious accident involving our former pupil, Colin Cairney, during his visit to Thailand. Our school community is thinking about Colin and his family during this extremely difficult time.
Following the accident, he has required urgent medical treatment and remains far from home. His family have set up a gofundme page if anyone wishes to donate.

West Highland Way Charity Walk
Four of our new S6s are walking the West Highland Way in July for CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably), a charity dedicated to preventing su***de and helping people struggling with their mental health.

All new S1s have met their classmates and form teacher this morning. They are now attending their first class before lunch. Lots of happy people and a brilliant buzz across our school.

We are delighted to welcome our 195 new S1s back to our school for our induction days.

Our healthcare pupils had a brilliant morning at the simulation training facility.
