Weekly update.....

It has been lovely to welcome all of our children back to school. They have grown so much over the holiday and look very smart in their new school uniforms! We are all delighted to be back and look forward to working with you throughout the year.

You will now have received a data pack and consent forms for 2026-27. Please return these to school as soon as possible so we can ensure that the details we hold for you are accurate and we can begin certain activities in school. It is really important to keep your mobile number and email address up to date with the school office so you don’t miss out on important information.

Uniform Reminder:

At Ardeer Primary School, pupils wear the school's own sweatshirt with a white or blue polo shirt underneath. Uniforms can be purchased at a reasonable price from Schoolwearmadeeasy http://www.schoolwearmadeeasy.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=Ardeer Our target is for every pupil to wear a sweatshirt to school, and we are very proud of how smartly turned out our pupils are. Children are encouraged to wear grey/black trousers/skirts. We have a small uniform stock in school.

Pupils are encouraged to wear shoes, but if trainers are worn, for health and safety reasons the children should have separate footwear for P.E. Please ensure children have gym shoes on PE days.

Weekly update.....

We are fast approaching the end of term and the end of a very busy session. Thank you for your support across the year!

Well done to our Eco Pupil Voice Group who have secured the 6th Green Flag for Ardeer Primary School. We received very positive feedback about the work that we do. Thank you to Mrs Kyle for leading on this!

Thank you to everyone who raised money to support our school funds in the Sponsored Danceathon organised by Primary 6. We have raised just over £1100 and are delighted to put this toward trips for next session. We work hard as a school to reduce the cost of the school day and provide every child with at least one fully funded school excursion each year, pantomime, parties and events across the year. All the money raised from our Bingo Night, Christmas Fayre, Valentine’s Disco and Sponsored Event in June goes directly to funding these for the children. With each trip now costing in the region of £800, every penny counts!

We expect to see all of our boys and girls in school next week. Please note the earlier finishing time of 1pm on Tuesday 30th June. Goodbye and Good Luck to our P7’s on the next part of their school journey!

Have a lovely summer break when it comes. We look forward to welcoming you back to school on Thursday 20th August.

All of our classes have had a very active week and the weather held for us for the first half of the week allowing the children to participate in Commonwealth Games events, our sponsored Danceathon and Health Day. Special thanks to Mr Thom for organising these! We are keeping our fingers crossed for a dry day on Tuesday 16th June @ 1.30pm for Sports Day take 2!

A huge thanks to Primary 6 for organsing and running our Danceathon. They demonstrated excellent organisation skills, responsibility and stamina on the day! Thank you very much to those of you who have already returned sponsorship money for the Danceathon. Every penny will go towards events such as P7 leavers, class parties and trips for our children.
