Weekly update.....

We have reached the end of Term 1. What a quick term!

We thoroughly enjoyed our Harvest Festival with our invited local residents yesterday and thank you for your kind donations. These were distributed and gratefully received.

Weekly update.....

We can hardly believe we are fast approaching the end of Term 1. It has been a lovely term with our children and great to see them having success in their learning!

We continue to monitor attendance and late comings and we ask that you work with us to keep children in school during term time.

We look forward to welcoming our invited senior citizens and local residents to our Harvest Festival next week. We are accepting donations to share locally and thank you for your support.

Weekly update.....

Mrs McLean is working hard with children across P2-7 in outdoor learning. The children have made Tattie-Bogles (Scarecrows) and some butterfly prints as they are learning about the life cycle.

Robert Graham, NAC sustainability officer, visited Primary 6 to support their work on climate change. He was very pleased to return to Ardeer and spoke positively about the work the children undertook.

We are developing our whole school creativity display and each child has made their mark!

Weekly update.....

Another busy week at Ardeer Primary School. The children have really settled into the weekly routines and are working well in classes. Our Pupil Voice groups met this week and are full of new ideas on how to make improvements to our school over the coming year. It will be great to support them over the coming months!

Weekly update.....

Lovely to see so many new and familiar faces at our Meet the Teacher event this week. Thank you for your support!

Please remember that the school office is open between 8.30am – 3.30pm. If you have a query, please make contact with us during these hours and we will do our best to help you.

Scottish Water continue to work in our local area and there have been further developments over this past week. I have been advised that Shore Road, just beyond Clark Crescent, will close from Monday 14th September to allow for improvements to be undertaken. Please be aware of this when dropping off and collecting children from school. We have closed the field access gate at present and ask everyone to use the playground entrance and exits. Clark Crescent is very busy at drop off and pick up times. Please be mindful of our neighbours and try to avoid blocking driveways or causing obstructions. Thank you!

Weekly update.....

We’ve had a very busy week at Ardeer and the classes are settling well into their new routines.

We continue to work on attendance (our target is 95%) and good time keeping (in and ready to start learning at 9am) this year and we ask for your support with this to give out children the best chance in school.

Scottish Water continue to work in our local area. I have been advised that Shore Road, just beyond Clark Crescent, will close from Monday 7 September to allow for works to be undertaken. Please be aware of this when dropping off and collecting children from school.

We look forward to welcoming family members to our meet the teacher event on Wednesday 9th September. This is an optional and informal opportunity to visit your child’s class, see where they sit and learn more about what they are working on this term. Door will be open from 1.45pm -2.45pm and it will be a 3.00 finish for all children as normal.
