Glencairn Parent Partnership Forum for parents of Glencairn Primary School Welcome to Glencairn Primary School Parent Council page.

We hope whether you are a parent, carer, ex pupil, local business or a community spirited local resident that you will like our page and if inspired to do so play a supportive role in ensuring Glencairn provides the very best possible learning and nurturing environment for its pupils. As the Parent Council we aim to

Support the school in its work with pupils

Represent the views of all parents

ncourage links between the school, parents, pupils, pre-school groups and the wider community

Report back to all the parents in the school (called the Parent Forum)

Assist raising funds to support school activities

It is really important to us as a parent council that we truly represent the views of the parent forum and we hope that this page will provide both a convenient way for us to keep you informed and also an easy way for you all to contact us with any ideas, concerns, offers of support etc. We already have a good working relationship with the school management team, meeting monthly to pass on your views and equally to hear from the school what the current issues, achievements, and goals are. We will be posting here to report from these meetings and also gather any issues that you wish raised. With your help we can spread the word and help make this page our forum to support our children in our community.
