The wait is almost over… 💜💙

Tomorrow we kick off our Autumn/Winter Term 1 with our Stevenage students, and I honestly cannot wait! 🥰✨

This term brings a brand-new class structure to Dance Beat, giving our dancers the opportunity to learn, grow and build those all-important foundations at the right stage for them.

⭐ Little Stars | Ages 4–6
A fun and welcoming introduction to dance, where our youngest dancers can build confidence, make friends and take their first little steps into their dance journey.

⭐ Junior Beginners | Ages 7+
Perfect for our older beginners, with a focus on learning new skills, building confidence and developing strong foundations.

And I’m especially excited because several brand-new families have already booked their FREE trials with me across both Friday and Saturday! 🥹💃

💜 SOMETIMES, A HUG IS JUST WHAT THEY NEED.

September can bring a LOT of change.

New schools. New year groups. New teachers. New routines. New faces.

And while it can be an exciting time, I know it can also feel overwhelming for some children and young people — and parents too!

That’s why, at DanceBeat, I believe it’s so important that every dancer feels seen, supported and safe to be themselves.

I’m definitely a hugger! 🤗

A cuddle, a reassuring smile, a “you’ve got this” or simply taking a moment to listen can make such a difference when someone is feeling unsure.

There’s even research suggesting that receiving a 20-second hug can help buffer the body’s response to stress — although, of course, every person is different, and not everyone wants a hug. 💜

For me, this is what NURTURE & GROW really means.

When you join DanceBeat, you aren’t just a name on a register or another student in a class.

You are a person.

I want to get to know each dancer, understand what makes them tick and help them feel comfortable enough to grow in their own way.

Some dancers need a little more encouragement. Some need time to settle. Some need a big cheer. Some need a quiet “you’re doing brilliantly.”

And some just need a hug. 🤗
