When the opportunity came to feature a solo/duet in our latest show, the teachers and I were ecstatic 🤩… We wanted to give this to children who weren’t necessarily the most confident but we knew they had it in them…. I remember the day we told them about their role… they both didn’t think they could do it! They grew week after week and seeing them on stage was an unexplainable feeling 🥹👏✨ Special shout out to for her hard work on this beautiful moment!

💫Our Spectacular Dance Teacher Laura has graduated! ✨In 2023 Laura started her 3 year journey training at LMA London for a BA Hons Degree in Musical Theatre. Yesterday was her graduation day 🎓at Sadler’s Wells East in London. She had the best day celebrating with her family and friends. ✨We can’t wait to see what the future holds for Laura… she is not only a technically gifted dance teacher but also a kind-hearted, conscientious person who is such an excellent role model to all the children at Make Believe Stevenage 🎭

These two pictures speak a thousand words… I remember being in the midst of motherhood with a 1 year old who didn’t sleep, was up at 4am everyday, fussy eater, constantly on the move and a difficult temperament to say the least 🫠… 5 years later and we have the most caring, kind, honest, talkative, wonderful young boy who still gets up at 5:30am everyday 😂… but makes me proud beyond words! I remember thinking it will never get easier and it does (with new challenges for sure 🤭) but I can say this period of his life is such a wonderful time I would take all those hard days for this! 💙
