Jasmine's Childminding Childminder based in Stevenage, Herts My name is Jasmine Khan. I am an Ofsted registered childminder based in Great Ashby, Stevenage.

I have always had a passion to work with children and encourage their development as they grow. My setting offers a safe and caring home from home environment. I aim to ensure that your child is made to feel at home, valued and important. I will work to increase your child’s social interaction skills and also his/her independence and confidence. My home is a large two bed house. Your child will ha

ve full access to the living room, garden and kitchen, when helping with cooking and baking etc, and also the downstairs WC. Your child’s safety is a high concern and therefore full health and safety checks have been carried out at my setting.

Today we had lots of fun developing our fine motor skills with a fun bear rescue activity! 🥄🌈

The children used spoons to carefully pick up the colourful bears from the water and transfer them into the matching bowls. This encouraged hand-eye coordination, concentration, control and precision, while also supporting colour recognition and early counting skills. 🧠✨

Today we got creative with a colourful rainbow painting activity! 🌈 The children used circle painting sponges to dip into different coloured paints and create their own beautiful rainbow designs. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

This was a lovely activity for developing fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination and colour recognition, while encouraging creativity and allowing each child to create their own unique masterpiece. 🖌️✨

Today we enjoyed a lovely picnic in the park, where the children sat together to share lunch and practise their social skills. We then gathered for story time, encouraging listening, imagination and a love of books.

The fun continued with colourful parachute games, where the children worked together, followed instructions, developed their gross motor skills and enjoyed lots of laughter along the way!

Days like these are a perfect reminder that some of the best learning happens outdoors through play, teamwork and making special memories together. 💚

What a fantastic day we had exploring! We visited different parks where the children climbed, balanced, swung and challenged themselves on the equipment, helping to develop their confidence, coordination and gross motor skills.

We also enjoyed a peaceful walk through the woods, taking in the sights and sounds of nature, chatting about what we could see and encouraging curiosity about the world around us. 🌳🛝☀️

We are sad to say goodbye to one of our very special little ones.

We feel incredibly privileged to have been part of his early years journey, watching him grow in confidence, learn new skills, make wonderful friendships and create so many precious memories.

Thank you for the beautiful gifts and thoughtful cards. Your kind words mean more than you know and remind us why we love what we do every single day. Thank you for trusting us with such an important part of your child’s life.

Although it’s never easy to say goodbye, we know our little one is ready for his next big adventure. We wish him every happiness, success and confidence as he takes this exciting next step. Keep shining, little one, we know you’ll do amazing things! 🌟

Our little artists had a wonderful time painting beautiful rainbows together! Using a variety of bright colours, they carefully explored brush strokes, colour recognition and creative expression while bringing their colourful masterpieces to life.

This open-ended activity encouraged imagination, supported fine motor development through holding and controlling paintbrushes, and provided opportunities to talk about the colours of the rainbow and what they can see in the world around them. Working alongside their friends also helped to develop communication, confidence and social skills as they shared ideas, paint and lots of smiles.
