Jasmine's Childminding Childminder based in Stevenage, Herts My name is Jasmine Khan. I am an Ofsted registered childminder based in Great Ashby, Stevenage.

I have always had a passion to work with children and encourage their development as they grow. My setting offers a safe and caring home from home environment. I aim to ensure that your child is made to feel at home, valued and important. I will work to increase your child’s social interaction skills and also his/her independence and confidence. My home is a large two bed house. Your child will have full access to the living room, garden and kitchen, when helping with cooking and baking etc, and also the downstairs WC. Your child’s safety is a high concern and therefore full health and safety checks have been carried out at my setting.

Today our little artists got creative with a wonderful autumn-inspired painting activity! 🎨🧡

Using beautiful autumn colours of red, orange, yellow and brown, the children explored paint printing with leaf-shaped sponges, creating a stunning autumn tree together! 🌳🍃

This lovely hands-on activity encouraged creativity, colour recognition, fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination, whilst allowing the children to explore different textures and printing techniques.

We loved watching our autumn tree come to life, one colourful leaf at a time! 🍂❤️

Our little ones have been busy creating a beautiful autumn tree displayed on sticky-back paper and using a wonderful selection of colourful material leaves! 🌳❤️🧡💛💚

The children carefully selected their leaves and placed them onto the sticky tree, exploring the different colours, shapes and textures. We also added some falling leaves around our tree to represent the beautiful changes we see in nature during autumn. 🍃🍂

This activity encouraged the children to use their fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination and creativity as they carefully positioned their leaves. It was also a lovely opportunity to explore autumn colours, develop our understanding of seasonal changes and enjoy a hands-on sensory experience. 🥰

We absolutely love how our autumn tree has turned out! 🍁🌳 A beautiful, colourful addition to our setting, created by our wonderful little learners! ❤️

Our setting has had a little seasonal makeover! 🍁✨ We’ve been busy putting up our autumn and Halloween decorations, creating a cosy, colourful and exciting environment for our little ones to enjoy. 🧡🍂

From beautiful autumn colours and falling leaves to spooky Halloween touches, our setting is ready for a season full of fun, exploration and exciting learning opportunities! 🎃👻

We love creating a welcoming environment that sparks the children’s curiosity and imagination, encourages conversations about the changing seasons and gets everyone excited for all the autumn-themed activities we have planned! 🍁🦔

Our little explorers enjoyed a lovely autumn-themed hedgehog activity! 🍁🌿 We created a woodland-inspired sensory tray filled with colourful autumn leaves, greenery and our adorable hedgehogs.

The children had fun carefully placing Cheerios onto the hedgehogs’ spikes, helping to develop their fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination and concentration. 🥣🦔

We also enjoyed exploring a touchy-feely hedgehog book, discovering different textures and learning more about these fascinating little creatures. 📚 We talked about hedgehogs, their prickly spikes and how they prepare for the colder months, encouraging curiosity, communication and language development.

A wonderful way to combine sensory exploration, books and learning about the natural world through play! ❤️🍂

Our little ones have been getting creative with this lovely autumn-inspired activity! 🧡💛 We started by reading stories about pumpkins and talking about the changes we see during autumn. 📚🍁

The children then explored different shades of orange, yellow and brown, carefully choosing and sticking pieces of coloured tissue paper onto their pumpkin templates. 🎨 This was a wonderful opportunity to explore colours, develop fine motor skills and express their creativity.

Once completed, we displayed our beautiful pumpkin sun catchers on the windows, where the natural light shines through, creating a gorgeous autumn display! 🍂✨

We love bringing the magic of autumn into our setting through fun, hands-on activities that support learning through play. 🧡

Our little ones have been getting creative making these adorable autumn squirrels! 🥰 They carefully coloured their squirrels using beautiful autumn shades before decorating their fluffy tails with a selection of colourful leaves and sparkly autumn embellishments. 🍁✨

This activity was a lovely opportunity to develop fine motor skills, creativity and colour recognition, while talking about the changes we see during autumn and the animals we might spot outdoors. 🍂🐿️

Today we have been using leaf-shaped stamps and a mixture of warm autumnal paints, the children created their own colourful autumn artwork.

They enjoyed experimenting with different colours, patterns and stamping techniques, watching their leaves appear on the paper. 🍂✨

We’ve been embracing the beautiful colours of autumn with this fun and creative activity! The children explored different autumn leaves and their colours before creating their own colourful leaf artwork using paints and laminate pouches 🍁🧡❤️💛

We’ve been exploring the beautiful colours of autumn through a fun and creative painting activity! ❤️🧡💛🤎

The children used red, orange, yellow and brown paints, and placed conkers in their trays, tilting and moving them to create wonderful swirls, lines and patterns. We talked about the changing colours of the leaves, looked at our autumn display and enjoyed exploring the different shades we can see during this season. 🍁🌳

A lovely open-ended activity encouraging creativity, imagination, colour recognition, coordination and physical control, while giving the children the freedom to create their own unique autumn masterpieces. 🖌️🍂

We’ve been exploring all things autumn with this beautiful sensory tuff tray! 🍁🍂 The children enjoyed discovering and exploring a variety of autumn-themed resources, including conkers, acorns, pinecones, leaves, twigs and a mixture of seeds and grains. 🌰🌿

We also included some woodland friends and our “AUTUMN” wooden letters, encouraging the children to recognise the letters and talk about the changes we see in nature during this wonderful season. 🐿️🦔

A lovely opportunity for sensory exploration, mark making, vocabulary development, fine motor skills, counting, sorting and imaginative play — all while having lots of autumn fun! 🍁🤎
