Day 4 on ADHD medication.
The only way I can describe it is that my brain feels... switched on.
For years I've woken up with thousands of thoughts before breakfast. Constant noise. Constant movement. Constant mental chatter.
Today, it's quieter.
And surprisingly, that feels lonely.
I feel a bit lost without the noise. Like a part of me is missing, even though I know that noise isn't necessarily serving me.
I'm still monitoring side effects too. Today I've felt quite dizzy and nauseous, so I'm taking things one day at a time.
Anyone else find the quiet harder to adjust to than they expected?
