To celebrate World book day we have been looking at the book Elmer the Elephant. Over the course of the week we have been on a Elmer hunt and made our very own Elmer’s.

This week we have World Book day, throughout the week, the children will be exploring a range of wonderful stories, sharing their favourite books, and taking part in activities that encourage imagination, creativity, and a love of learning.
Celebrating books in early years helps support language development and inspires a lifelong love of reading. We look forward to a week full of stories, creativity, and magical moments at Preschool. Don’t forget your child is welcome to come in dressed in lots of colours just like Elmer the Elephant.

This week at preschool, we celebrated Chinese New Year with a variety of activities. The children enjoyed tasting Chinese noodles and crackers and worked together to create a dragon for a traditional dragon dance. A wonderful opportunity to explore culture through food, art, and movement. 🐉

This week at preschool we will be learning about Chinese New Year! They will explore red and gold decorations, create beautiful lantern crafts, dance like dragons 🐉, and discover traditions that celebrate family, good luck, and new beginnings.
This helps provide curiosity, kindness, and cultural understanding.
