We are a village primary school with a capacity of up to 210 children. Each year group has their own class and with one intake in September each year. This means that the pupils are able to bond with their year group peers right from the start with no mixed aged classes throughout the school. What matters to us above all else, is that children are given the opportunity to thrive and be challenged

according to their own strengths and talents. We celebrate both achievement and effort and our teachers strive to inspire children to be independent and enthusiastic learners.

Our fab Year 1s have raised an amazing £1,000 for The Laughter Specialists Charitable Trust to thank them for their support of class mate, Oscar.

The 'silly walk' fun event saw pupils skip, hop, dance, crawl and even do the robot.

Their fantastic fundraising even made the front page of this week's Haverhill Echo - https://www.suffolknews.co.uk/haverhill/news/when-he-has-a-bad-day-at-school-i-know-his-class-look-afte-9366371/.

We are delighted to see our Early Years outdoor playground officially opened and being used by excited pupils (and staff!).

Our creative young pupils played a big part in designing the area and their faces when they saw the space for the first time was a wonderful moment for us all.

We would like to thank Unity Schools Partnership for funding the work.

Coffee and Cake community afternoon event - Tuesday 5th December 1:30-2:30 at Steeple Bumpstead Primary School.

All welcome; Parents, Families, Comunity members and neighbours

Primary school applications must be submitted by 15th January 2024 for children starting school in September 2024.

Steeple Bumpstead Lrimary School will be running roadshows to come and talk to prospective parents and children (raffle and book give away included) at Golden Apples on Tuesday 21st November and Olive Barn on Thursday 23rd November. Please messsge for times.

You can also book a tour of the school by contacting reception, we are very proud of our school and will be delighted to show you all that’s on offer!

Tuesday 14th November… open morning for September 2024 start. 9:30 or 11am at the school. A short presentation followed by a tour of the school to show you how proud we are of our children, staff and entire school community!!
