🚒🧑‍🚒The children had such a great time welcoming the firefighters from Headcorn Fire Station to the nursery and getting the chance to explore a real fire engine up close.

A huge thank you to the crew for such a fantastic visit. The children loved looking around the fire engine, seeing the blue lights and hearing the sirens, they were so excited to have a go with the water hose too!

It was a brilliant experience for everyone and we’re so grateful you took the time to visit us.

To extend the children's learning, we created a firefighter-themed tuff tray activity where the children used spray bottles to put out "paint fires", developing their fine motor skills while having lots of fun. We also learnt all about the special protective clothing firefighters wear and how it helps to keep them safe while they work. It was a wonderful way to build on the children's curiosity and reinforce everything they had discovered during the visit. 🚒🔥

We welcomed some very special visitors yesterday 🦙

The children were so excited to meet George and Truffle the Alpacas. They loved meeting them, learning all about them, seeing their gentle personalities up close and even feeding them some carrots and broccoli.

There was lots of smiles, giggles and unforgettable moments throughout the morning. ♥️
