Oxhill Nursery School

At Oxhill Nursery School, developing a love of reading is one of our key focuses.

Each class has a carefully chosen set of core books. These are shared as a whole class, in small groups, and one-to-one. Through retelling, acting out stories, and taking part in related activities, children build vocabulary, explore ideas, and deepen their enjoyment of books.

At Oxhill Nursery School, we want our children to look after the world we live in and take pride in their local community. Today, our children — alongside our amazing families — took part in a sponsored litter pick to help keep our local area clean, tidy, and litter‑free.

Farewell and Best Wishes to Our Office Manager, Georgia

We would like to share with our Oxhill Nursery School community that our lovely Office Manager, Georgia, will be leaving us to embark on an exciting new chapter in her career shortly after the Easter Holidays.

Georgia has recently completed her School Business Manager Diploma as part of our excellent Continuous Professional Development programme with great success and has secured a School Business Manager position at a local school.

We are incredibly proud of her achievements and grateful for the dedication and support she has given to our nursery over the last three and a half years. Georgia’s hard work and friendly presence will be greatly missed by staff, children, and families alike. We wish her all the very best in her new role and future adventures.
