🧤 TWO SGK KEEPERS. TWO CLEAN SHEETS. 🔥

Managed to catch a client game tonight… and ended up getting two in one 👀

Freddie’s Beamish side were playing a year up against Theo’s Beamish team, which meant an SGK keeper at both ends!

Both were seriously impressive.

End to end game, plenty of chances, loads of pressure… and neither keeper could be beaten 👏

Some unreal stops, strong communication and really good distribution from both lads. It was class to watch them take the work we do in their weekly 1-2-1’s and apply it in proper game situations.

Final score: 0-0 🤝

A draw on paper… but definitely a win for SGK with two clean sheets 😅🧤

Very proud to put the SGK name alongside both of these lads. Absolute pleasure to watch 💙

What a brilliant way to round off our Summer Camps for 2026 💙🧤

14 keepers aged 7 to 14 worked incredibly hard throughout the day, with loads of technical detail, competition, development and plenty of enjoyment along the way 👊

One of the best parts of these camp days is seeing the goalkeeping community come together. For most of these keepers, they’re the only one in their team who truly understands what it feels like to play in goal.

On days like this, they’re surrounded by others who get it.

The encouragement, support and way they back each other throughout the day is brilliant to see, while still keeping that competitive edge that pushes standards even higher 👏

For Week Six we’re keeping things simple. Two days. Two coaches. Plenty of 1-2-1’s. 🥅

This week’s sessions will be run by Coach Macca & Coach Ryan, with Dan finished for the summer and taking some time off.

Sessions can be tailored towards areas your goalkeeper wants to work on, making these a great opportunity to get some focused training in before the return to school and the season getting into full swing.
