Rest to Progress 😌
Recovery is just as important as training.
Your workouts provide the stimulus for change, but your body repairs and builds muscle during rest.
Taking regular rest days helps reduce fatigue, improve performance and lower your risk of injury, allowing you to keep progressing over time.
However, recovery doesn’t mean doing nothing.
Light activities such as walking, gentle cardio or stretching can reduce stiffness, improve circulation and help you feel ready for your next session without placing extra stress on your body.
Don’t forget the basics either. Prioritise quality sleep, eat enough protein and stay hydrated to support muscle recovery and maximise your results 😴
Train hard. Recover well. Stay consistent.

Just a quick reminder to all members.
Before taking part in any class or using the gym, you must have an active membership or session booked and a completed waiver form.
If you take a drink from the fridge, please make sure you pay for it through the app or bank transfer (check price on the app if unsure). Please don’t take drinks without paying ‼️
Please check the app regularly to make sure your membership is active. Occasionally recurring payments can fail without you realising.
Please remember that this gym is our business. Every membership, every class and every drink sold helps keep the doors open and allows us to continue improving the gym. Please respect us by following the rules, keeping your membership up to date and paying for anything you take.
Failure to follow these rules may result in your membership being suspended or revoked.
We really appreciate everyone’s support and understanding. Thank you 🖤

How many times a week should you train? ✨
The answer might be simpler than you think.
For most people, 2-3 well-structured sessions each week are enough to build strength, improve fitness and see real progress. The real secret is consistency. Training three times a week for a year will always produce better results than training six times a week for a month before giving up.
In our latest blog, we cover:
• How often you should weight train
• How much cardio you should do
• How many rest days you should have
• How to structure your training
If you'd like some extra support, our Lifting Club and Hybrid Circuit classes take the guesswork out of training with coached sessions throughout the week.
Prefer to train on your own? Our Training Guide, available through the app, includes multiple training splits based on how often you train. We also offer one-off personalised training plans tailored to your goals, experience and schedule.
How Often Should I Train?
One of the most common questions we get asked is "How many times a week should I train?"
