Our little bakers have been very busy!
The children have had lots of fun today playing bakers and making lots of delicious treats, including cakes, buns and biscuits.
They are all very excited to hold their very own Bake Sale tomorrow!
Please come along between 2:30pm and 4:00pm to support the children, say hello to our little bakers and enjoy one of their yummy homemade treats. 💚
We would love to see as many of you there as possible!

Today, our Blossom Room had a lovely outing to Swithens Farm!

The children enjoyed exploring the different play areas, seeing all the animals, taking a tractor ride and even bottle-feeding the calves!

We then visited Rothwell Park, where we finished off a wonderful day by enjoying some delicious ice creams. What a fantastic day filled with fun and special memories!

If your child is booked into our Holiday Club (The Cabin) tomorrow, please remember they will need:

• £3.00
• A packed lunch in a carrier bag
• Suitable clothing and footwear for our trip to Newmillerdam

The trip is weather permitting. If the rain is too heavy for us to go ahead safely, we will cancel the trip and enjoy lots of other exciting activities throughout the day instead.

☀️ Extreme Weather Notice ☀️

With extreme temperatures expected again over the next few days, we would like to reassure parents and carers that the nursery will remain open during our normal hours.

However, for the safety and comfort of the children, we would encourage families—where possible—to keep children at home where it may be cooler or arrange for them to be collected earlier.

We will keep the children indoors as much as possible, offer plenty of water play and ensure they have regular drinks throughout the day.

Please make sure your child:

• Arrives wearing suncream
• Brings suncream for reapplication
• Wears lightweight, cool clothing
• Brings a labelled sun hat

Heat exhaustion can be very serious, particularly for young children. These measures will help us keep both the children and our staff safe and comfortable during the extreme heat.

☀️ Warm Weather Reminder ☀️

Please can all parents ensure their child arrives at nursery with suncream already applied and brings a clearly labelled bottle for reapplication throughout the day.

Children should also wear sensible, lightweight clothing suitable for the warm weather and bring a clearly labelled sun hat.

🫧🎉 Bubble & Foam Party! 🎉🫧

What a fun filled day we had at nursery! We had a special entertainer join us for a bubble and foam disco party, with lots of music, dancing, face paint and games! 🫧🎶

🍓🍌 Fruit Kebab Making! 🍇🍫

The children had lots of fun making their own fruit kebabs, choosing their favourite fruits and carefully adding them to their skewers before dipping them into some yummy chocolate! 🍓🍌🍇

🎳 Tenpin Bowling! 🎳

We had such a lovely time taking the children bowling! They had lots of fun taking turns and seeing how many pins they could knock down! 🎳
