Seedling Room had a lovely visit to the library yesterday📚

The babies enjoyed looking at and collecting farm animal books to support our Book of the Month. Sharing stories together helps to develop early communication skills, encourages a love of books, and introduces the children to different animal sounds and familiar words. We are excited to explore our new books and continue learning about farm animals together🍃

🌟 Sponsored Walk Success! 🌟

This week, our children in Seedling, Stem and Blossom Room have been walking around local community taking part in our sponsored walk to help raise money for new resources.

We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has sponsored and supported us. Your generosity is greatly appreciated and will help us provide even more exciting learning opportunities for the children.

Each child will receive a certificate this week to celebrate their fantastic achievement and participation in the walk.

If your child does not appear in any of the photos shared, we will be sending individual photos through Tapestry later this week.

Well done to all of our amazing walkers, we are so proud of you!💚

We have found a ring in the setting. If you are missing a ring, or think your child may have brought one into nursery, please let a member of staff know.

Our little explorers are getting ready for their sponsored walk! 🌿👣
Stem and Blossom Rooms will be walking around the community during the week commencing Monday 8th June to help raise funds for nursery resources and experiences for the children.

Any support is hugely appreciated please ask a member of staff for a sponsor form 💚

With the warm weather arriving, please can all children attending nursery have sun cream applied before they arrive each morning.

Please also send your child with:

• Their own sun cream with their name clearly labelled on, spray sun cream is preferred but not essential.
• A sun hat with their name labelled on
• Cool, comfortable clothing suitable for the warm weather
• Spare clothes, as we will be enjoying lots of water play

Please take sun creams out of bags on arrival and hand to a member of staff, Thank you 💚

Weekend Cleaner Required – Nursery Setting

Stepping Stones Nursery are looking for a reliable, hardworking and trustworthy cleaner to join our team.

Hours:
• 3 hours each weekend
• Flexible day and times to suit the right person

Duties will include carrying out a full deep clean of the nursery setting each weekend to a high standard,

• Deep cleaning all nursery rooms
• Hoovering and mopping all floors
• Cleaning and sanitising toilets and nappy changing areas
• Cleaning children’s tables, chairs and surfaces
• Cleaning kitchen areas
• Cleaning skirting boards, doors and handles
• Cleaning window frames
• Dusting and disinfecting surfaces
• Wiping radiators, shelves and storage units
• Ensuring high hygiene standards are maintained throughout the nursery

The successful applicant must:
• Have previous cleaning experience
• Be able to work independently and use initiative
• Be thorough with attention to detail
• Be reliable and punctual
• Understand the importance of cleanliness and hygiene within a childcare setting
