Over July and August, our little ones have been exploring the wonderful world of light and shadows through hands-on activities, alongside fun topics on flowers, sea creatures and farm animals 🌻🐠🐄

We’ve had some brilliant outings too:
🐟 A trip to the Sealife Centre
🌳 Lots of park and playground fun
🛍️ A shopping trip
🍽️ A lovely meal out together

And of course, we couldn’t let the summer pass without celebrating our graduating friends who are heading off to preschool! 🎓 We wish them all the very best on their next big adventure — we’ll miss you!

Here’s to more fun, learning and memories in the months ahead 💛

⚽️ June Round-Up ⚽️
June’s topic was the FIFA Football World Cup and we had so much fun!
The children enjoyed taking part in lots of football-themed activities, including practising their kicking skills, scoring goals, counting, matching colours, football crafts and sharing stories together. It was lovely to see everyone joining in, encouraging each other and celebrating their achievements.
We also enjoyed taking part in activities through the Local Offer, giving the children the chance to explore new places, meet new people and enjoy different experiences within our community.
There were plenty of smiles, laughter and opportunities to learn through play, making June another month full of happy memories. We can’t wait to see what adventures our next topic brings! ⚽️❤️

🐞 May Round-Up 🐞

During May, we completed our topic on ladybirds and had lots of fun learning through play. Our activities included reading stories, colour sorting, making ladybirds with play dough, counting ladybird spots, and going on a ladybird hunt.

We also enjoyed visits to the zoo and other local places of interest, giving the children plenty of opportunities to explore and learn about the world around them.

The lovely warm weather meant we could spend lots of time outdoors and enjoy some fantastic water play, which was a big hit with everyone! ☀️💦

We are looking forward to seeing what adventures June will bring!

In no time, we have reached the end of our April topic, ‘St George’s Day’. The children enjoyed a range of activities, all carefully planned to support their individual development.

We have loved watching the children explore, play, and learn throughout the topic.

We had a fantastic trip to Call of the Wild Zoo recently! The children loved watching the wallabies and flamingos, and we’re already excited for our next visit. 😊
