🐞 May Round-Up 🐞

During May, we completed our topic on ladybirds and had lots of fun learning through play. Our activities included reading stories, colour sorting, making ladybirds with play dough, counting ladybird spots, and going on a ladybird hunt.

We also enjoyed visits to the zoo and other local places of interest, giving the children plenty of opportunities to explore and learn about the world around them.

The lovely warm weather meant we could spend lots of time outdoors and enjoy some fantastic water play, which was a big hit with everyone! ☀️💦

We are looking forward to seeing what adventures June will bring!

In no time, we have reached the end of our April topic, ‘St George’s Day’. The children enjoyed a range of activities, all carefully planned to support their individual development.

We have loved watching the children explore, play, and learn throughout the topic.

We had a fantastic trip to Call of the Wild Zoo recently! The children loved watching the wallabies and flamingos, and we’re already excited for our next visit. 😊

We have brought our Easter topic to an end and we look forward to our new topic after the Easter break. The children have enjoyed all the activities but most especially the making of egg sandwiches.
