Tonight our students all had a opportunity to learn how to safety use the nunchaku. Some were exploring this weapon for the first time. This was made possible thanks to a generous equipment donation from Leyton Stone Worktops Ltd

Donations like these are invaluable to our students for their continued learning. These are foam ones so that our SEN students can also have ago without any injuries.

6ft heavy duty punch kick boxing bag. Small split does not affect use. Can be filled with sand or water. £60

Black and pink -£20- hanging bag and gloves. Used a handful of times but in great condition.

Black and red - £15 - punch ball and gloves. This is used in fair condition. There are wear and tear scratches on the ball but still has plenty of use in it.

These items are collection only. Cash in collection.

Collection will need to be Weds 6-7pm or thurs 7-8 as these items will be collected in Horndon-on-the-hill.

REMINDER:
for those students that need to complete closer quarter first aid this will be on 26/2/23 at 8.45am.

For juniors 16 and under £15 and all those above the age of 16, £30.

For those students that will be grading this will be taking place on 26/3/23 at 8.45am. Grading costs are £30.

Students need full Gi. Yellow belts and above need full equipment too.

All students need an upto date licence to complete both closer quarter first aid and Grading. Licence renewal is £30 per student.

If you are not sure whether students are Grading, need to complete closer quarter first aid, please check with Julie and Tracy.

If you are not sure about licence renewal please bring the licence to the next lesson to be checked.

Just a little reminder!!

There is no lesson next Thursday. We have our presentation evening on Wednesday 14th December 2022.

This evening will start at 5pm and finish at 7pm. All students must be in full Gi.

Parents are encouraged to stay for the presentation and share the students special moments.

Please bring something to share for our buffet table.

Over the last few weeks our students have been working very hard. 31 participated in the most recent gradings and all 31 passed!!!

Tonight was our punch-a-thon to raise funds for the club. Students that took part were as young as 3 years old. The baby boxers group achieved 800 punches each. The juniors and above all achieved a minimum of 1000 punches and some went as far as 2000 punches!!

We have had a fantastic evening and would like to thank all the students, parents/carers and those who sponsored the students.

Well done to all those that got their grades and attended tonight's punch-a-thon.

Horndon McAllister kickboxing presentation night from the grading . Professor McAllister came to visit and our students were honoured to be presented with their new belts by him. The results themselves were great . All passed and most with tabs some even gained two tabs . We as instructors could not be prouder of you all . You all worked so hard and the results proved that .
