Now that the dust has settled on an exhilirating results day for 2026, we wanted to take a moment to celebrating GCSE Success across Osborne Co-operative Academy Trust.

Following our record A Level and vocational results, it is fantastic to celebrate another strong set of outcomes across the Osborne Co-operative Academy Trust.

Across our schools, students have demonstrated remarkable resilience, determination and ambition, supported by dedicated staff, leaders, parents and carers. These results reflect our shared commitment to high expectations, excellent teaching and ensuring every young person can succeed.

At Brentwood County High School, students achieved the strongest GCSE and vocational outcomes in the school's history, continuing an exceptional year for the school.

At Thames Park Secondary School, the second GCSE cohort delivered outstanding results. Results in English and Maths are significantly above emerging local and national averages, with strong performances across a wide range of subjects. Fantastic achievement for a new school.

At St Clere's School, students also celebrated improved outcomes, reflecting the continued progress being made across the school and Trust.

Perhaps most encouragingly, we have also seen increased numbers of students from all three schools choosing to continue their education within our sixth forms. This growing confidence in our post-16 provision demonstrates the strength of the educational journey we are creating across Osborne, from early years education through to university, apprenticeships and employment.

These results are further evidence that school improvement is being secured across our Trust through collaboration, high expectations and a relentless focus on providing the very best opportunities for every young person.

Congratulations to all our students. We are immensely proud of what you have achieved and look forward to supporting you in the next stage of your journey.

Across our Trust, students have achieved the strongest A Level results our schools have ever recorded. These outcomes reflect the hard work, ambition and resilience of our young people, supported every step of the way by dedicated staff, leaders and families.

For an improving Trust, this is a particularly significant moment. It demonstrates the impact of a relentless focus on high expectations, excellent teaching through our ACE framework, a shared commitment to our co-operative values and to ensuring every student can succeed, regardless of their starting point.

Brentwood County High School celebrated its best-ever A Level and vocational results. This success builds on the school's recent positive Ofsted inspection, which recognised its inclusive culture and the strong progress made by pupils, ensuring they feel valued, supported and able to thrive.

What makes today's achievements even more remarkable is the success of St Clere's School Sixth Form. Now only in its third year, the sixth form has delivered impressive outcomes that demonstrate what is possible when ambitious students, talented staff and strong leadership come together.

Most importantly, these results create opportunities. Our students are now progressing to universities, apprenticeships and careers that will shape their futures and enable them to make a positive difference in the world.

To every student receiving results today: congratulations. You have earned this success, and we are immensely proud of you.

To our staff, leaders, governors, trustees and wider communities: thank you for your unwavering belief that every young person can achieve great things.

As we reach the end of another wonderful school year, we’d like to thank all our students, families and staff across Osborne Co‑operative Academy Trust for their hard work, support and positivity.

It’s been a year full of learning, creativity and growth - and we’re so proud of everything our young people have achieved.

To those moving on to new adventures, we wish you every success. To everyone returning in September, we look forward to welcoming you back refreshed and ready for another exciting year.

End of year reports, EYFS, MTC, Phonics and KS2 results should now be with all of those expecting them across our trust schools. To those expecting GCSE and A level results this August, we will see you all on results day where staff will be on hand to congratulate and support.

With warmer weather forecast over the coming days, we want to reassure families that we have every intention to have all Osborne Co-operative Academy Trust schools remain open throughout the heatwave, whilst it remains safe to do so.

Each school has its own measures in place to help students stay safe and comfortable - including adjusted routines, shaded areas, hydration breaks and flexible uniform guidance where appropriate.

Please check your school’s website, newsletters, MCAS or social media channels for specific updates and advice.

Our priority is always the wellbeing of our students and staff, and we thank parents and carers for their continued support as we work together to keep everyone safe in the heat.

As we begin Pride Month, we’re proud to celebrate the diversity, individuality and strength of every young person across our Trust. Creating safe, inclusive and welcoming schools is central to who we are. When students feel seen and valued, they thrive.

Pride Month is a reminder of the importance of respect, equality and fairness - values that sit at the heart of our co-operative community. Throughout June, our schools will be sharing stories, learning opportunities and moments that highlight the power of kindness and belonging.

Our CEO Mr Griffiths would like to share this message with our Osborne community today:

We’d like to wish all our students, families and staff a happy and restful half‑term. It’s been a busy few weeks across our schools, and we’re proud of everything our young people have achieved this term.

On 4 June, all Osborne schools will be taking part in AI Awareness Day, a national event helping young people understand the fast‑changing world of artificial intelligence.

This year, our Trust is focusing on Green and Ethical Use of AI. It’s a theme that reflects our co‑operative values and our commitment to helping every child thrive in a responsible, thoughtful and sustainable way.

Over the coming weeks, our schools will be joining live assemblies that explore:

How AI can support learning

Why fairness, safety and transparency matter

The environmental impact of digital tools

How to make good choices when using technology

The importance of human judgement in an AI‑enabled world

We aren’t just teaching students how to use AI.
We’re teaching them how to use it responsibly, sustainably and fairly.
