🥋🏆 STANFORD WARRIORS – BJJA BRITISH NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS 2026! 🏆🥋
What an incredible day for Stanford Warriors Ju-Jitsu Club at the BJJA British National Championships in Walsall!
We took a fantastic team of 21 competitors and achieved an amazing 23 MEDALS! 🥇🥈🥉🔥
But today was about so much more than medals.
We had brand-new competitors stepping onto the national mats for the first time, alongside our seasoned competitors, and every single one of them did us proud. The courage, determination and sportsmanship shown throughout the day was outstanding. 💪🥋
All those extra hours of training over the summer with Sensei Scott certainly paid off. The hard work, commitment and determination the team put in during those additional sessions really showed on the mats today. 👏
It was also fantastic to see our Warriors partnering each other in the randoms, working together and helping one another towards even more medals. 🏅 That teamwork sums up exactly what our club is about — not just competing for yourself, but supporting the person beside you too.
What made us especially proud was the support throughout the whole team — cheering each other on, helping one another prepare, mentoring our newer competitors and celebrating each other’s achievements. ❤️🖤
