Congratulations on the 10th Year Anniversary WYF !
Thank you for holding space for another wonderful gathering full of the warmth, energy, friendship & authenticity it never fails to create. Special to be able to share with my sister Mel. 🙏🏼
As a yoga teacher I feel blessed to be able to take time out, touch my roots and replenish. So many rich experiences, learning and conversations with lovely people - my heart is full.

Natarāja, dancing Shiva, is polished up and ready for his trip to World Yoga Festival next week!
Circle of Fire (Prabhāmaṇḍala): The universe itself… creation, preservation, and dissolution in an endless cycle.
Drum (Ḍamaru) in the upper right hand: The first vibration (nāda), from which creation and time began.
Fire (Agni) in the upper left hand: Dissolution and transformation, making way for new creation.
Lower right hand (Abhaya Mudrā): "Fear not." It offers protection and reassurance.
Lower left hand: Points toward the raised foot, indicating the path to liberation (mokṣa).
Raised left foot: Freedom from ignorance and suffering; the refuge for spiritual seekers.
Dwarf beneath the foot (Apasmara): Represents ignorance, forgetfulness of our true Self, and ego. Shiva does not destroy it completely but keeps it under control.
Flowing hair: Symbolises Shiva's boundless energy. The locks often depict the descent of the sacred Ganges and the dynamic movement of the cosmos.
Crescent Moon: Represents the cycles of time and immortality.
Serpent: Symbolises awakened spiritual energy (kuṇḍalinī) and mastery over fear and death.

Clinical Trial : Yoga and Cancer Care.
Of course many of us experience the benefits of complete yoga practices, but rare to see resources committed to researching this.
So good to see that gentle more cost effective, holistic approaches to health and healing are being acknowledged & hopefully integrated into recovery pathways. ✨
Yoga can reduce anxiety and insomnia for people living with cancer, study finds First clinical trial of its kind, involving 410 cancer survivors in US, also finds reductions in distress and fatigue
