Our Governors play a vital role in shaping strategic direction, supporting and constructively challenging leaders, and championing the children and communities we serve.

We’re proud to share that Standish Community High School has been shortlisted for the Mental Health and Wellbeing Award at this year’s Educate Awards!
We’re delighted to see their dedication to supporting student and staff wellbeing celebrated by the judges.

We’ve loved welcoming so many prospective students and their families to our open events over the past few weeks.

Each event was a real celebration of our schools, showcasing the vibrant learning environments, dedicated staff, and inspiring opportunities that make them such special places to learn.

A huge thank you to all our staff for their hard work and enthusiasm in making these events such a success. We look forward to seeing everyone again soon!

On 28th June, staff from across our Trust took on the Yorkshire Dales Mighty Hike, completing an impressive 26-mile walk in support of Macmillan Cancer Support.

We’re incredibly proud of their dedication and determination in raising money for such a vital cause. Well done to everyone involved!

Mosaic Learning Trust

We’re looking for trustees and governors to join our Trust Board and each of our school Local Governing Boards in the autumn term. This is an excellent opportunity for passionate individuals who share our commitment to delivering the very best education for every child.

Our Boards bring together professionals with a wide range of skills and experience, so whether your background is Human Resources, Marketing, Legal Services, Community groups or anything in between, your expertise could help us to shape the future of our schools and ensure the best outcomes for all our students.

This Volunteers’ Week, we thank our Members, Trustees, and Governors who generously give their time, expertise, and dedication to support education.

Your contribution is vital — helping to shape strategic decisions, strengthen governance, and ensure our schools deliver the best possible outcomes for children and young people.

Your commitment makes a lasting impact, and we are truly grateful for all that you do.

School budgets are a hot topic in the education sector right now — with rising costs, pay pressures, and minimal increases in Government funding.

We’re pleased to announce that our Chief Financial Officer, Ady Farrimond, will be speaking at the upcoming Confederation of School Trusts (CST) Finance meeting on 8th May.

Ady will be sharing how he and the brilliant Finance Team have worked to maximise the Mosaic Learning Trust’s budgets — ensuring our funding is used efficiently to support positive outcomes for our 2,600 pupils.
