What an absolutely phenomenal Open Evening!

Last night, Standish Community High School opened its doors, and we were truly overwhelmed by the incredible turnout. It was fantastic to see so many families from our local primary schools—and many who travelled from further afield—joining us to explore our community.

Every single department looked amazing, showcasing our first-class facilities and vibrant learning environments.

However, the real stars of the evening were our students:

- Over 300 student ambassadors represented our school with immense pride
- 120 Year 11 guides gave endless, enthusiastic tours of our school
- Our 3 Head Prefects delivered speeches with outstanding confidence, clarity and passion
- Our talented musicians at the front of the school created the perfect, welcoming atmosphere

We have been flooded with wonderful comments praising our young people for their deep knowledge, love for their school, and impeccable manners. You truly summed up what a special place Standish is!

Thank you to everyone who visited us last night. We are already so excited about welcoming our new cohort in September!
